How to install Dr.gini – b020:
Step 1: install EDIABAS.

Run the EDIABAS _7.3.0.msi in the EDIABAS folder to install the EDIABAS
Do not change any setting during installation.
Step 2: install Dr.Gini
Unpack the “Setup Dr.Gini B014 EN.zip” to run and install
Note: the setup is not completed
Step 3: files replacements in EDIABAS
Copy extracted files in the ECU folder to the ECU folder where EDIABAS program is installed
Step 4: Copy the EDIABAS.INI in”INTERFACES/ENET Ediabas.INI and overwrite the C:/EDIABAS/BIN folder, as Dr.Gini will be connected by the ENET cable.
Copy the api32.dll file in the “API32.DLL” folder to:

Step 5: Copy the Gini_B020.exe file to C:/EDIABAS/BIN.

Connect your tool and make sure is detected by your system correctly. Then run Passthru Configuration (I'm using version 2.0.9.4), choose your tool from list and click on Lauch config. Tool. In your passthru tool manager make a test and ensure that connection is established. Close the passthru tool manager. And before opening any diagnostic software run program called Easy Connect Utility, in MODE choose PASSTHRU and click check. If battery, ignition and voltage is detected then INPA, ISTA and other software should work.
Coping files from BMW AG folder to EDIABAS folder isn't really nesseary, mine machine works without it.
What OS you are running? When i click on Lauch config tool there is a blank vas passthru configuration window and when i try to click on device selection it gives me Error 10 missing administrator rights, even tho i run PTT driver configurator with admin rights. You are using vas with success?
